Both collective council members and new folks interested in getting involved in Free Ride and/or becoming members of the collective council came to the meetings. To be considered a collective council member, certain obligations must be reached which include: 1. Volunteer at least 24 hours per season. A season runs between the equinoxes and solstices (Mar 20, June 21, Sept 23, Dec 21). 2. Attend at least 1 meeting per season 3. Go through the volunteer training and be available to staff shifts and be put on the staffing calendar 4. To reinstate membership, you must volunteer 8 hours Todd – the restructuring meetings were open to the public.
