Free Bikes
For Individuals:
Free Ride’s Free Bike Program helps expand access to bicycles by allowing volunteers to donate their earned shop credit to community members who may not have the time or financial means to earn a bike themselves. Through this program, donated credits are made available in the shop for individuals to redeem during Open Shop hours, creating a pathway to reliable transportation and a deeper connection to our community. It’s one more way we work to remove barriers, promote self-sufficiency, and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to ride. If you’re interested in taking part of this program in any way let our staff now, next time you’re at the shop!
For Organizations:
Free Ride’s Overflow Donations Program ensures that bikes, parts, and accessories we’re unable to use still find meaningful homes in the community. We partner with local nonprofits and community organizations to redistribute these materials at no cost, prioritizing groups that expand access to bicycles and mechanical knowledge. By sharing our surplus, we reduce waste, strengthen partnerships, and support a broader ecosystem of people and projects working to make cycling more accessible.
